Casino Resorts Ready to Move on Online Gambling Once US Law Changes
March 30, 2009

A flawless congressional uproar is at hand to coerce the US to revoke of the UIGEA, and worn out land based
USA casino resort owners are looking forward to go in to the Internet gaming business. When the unavoidable opening of the US online gaming area takes place, titan casino conglomerates are predicted to attempt to command the trade they so long opposed.
Gambling specialist Richard Hauser expressed, "Harrah's, MGM Mirage, and the like will try to use their brand power to overwhelm the smaller foreign-based online casinos. Those companies are no longer able to continue their out-of-control spending on new resorts, and are turning to the Internet as a new source of income."
The American Gaming Association, the lead proponent for the large Nevada and New Jersey casino owners, has subsisted moving in a ocean change in its disposition toward online gambling. Formerly a loyal adversary, the AGA now is a prudent advocate of certified and regulated Internet gambling in the US.
Hauser reports the robust political ties of these immense corporations, and expresses there is some anticipation in the Online casino cosmos that the land casino owners will urge congressmen to take on a licensing program preferring them, using the excuse that they should be given unique standing as US-based corporations.
However, the Remote Gaming Association, which speaks on behalf of European online gaming affairs, will be keeping an attentive eye on US law-making. The RGA will wish the US to respect its promises to loose trade in services, or else it may resume its complaint in front of the European Commission. The EC has finished an inquiry into US Online gambling procedures, and might follow the suit to the World Trade Organization if protectionist rules are placed in new laws.
Even so, Hauser cautions best online casinos previously operating that, while the recommencement of the US trade may bear millions in new income, "big fish will be swimming in the pond now, looking for little fish to swallow whole. The change in law will present great opportunity, but also new dangers."
Good Luck
