bingo game Rules
Bingo is usually played in halls. Bingo
rules, payouts and play variations vary from place to place. Each Bingo
Hall usually supplies its players with the set of rules that run the
game, detailing particular game payouts etc. In this game players buy
cards with numbers on them in a 5 x 5 grid corresponding to the five
letters in the word B-I-N-G-O. Numbers are drawn at random until
one player completes a Bingo pattern and wins.
Check out our
Online Casinos USA how to play bingo
and bingo tips displayed on this page. The rules for playing bingo are
very simple, players buy
Bingo cards with numbers on them. These
cards have a 5 by
5 grid corresponding to the five letters
in the word B-I-N-G-O. Numbers such as
B-10 or I-28 are then drawn at
random by the person running the game,
called the caller (for calling out the
numbers).
American bingo has 75 possible numbers and the
European bingo (Tombola) has 90 possible
numbers. The game continues until one player
completes a 'Bingo'
pattern, which is usually a line
with five numbers. this line can be in a
horizontal, vertical or diagonal row on one of
their cards. a whole filled Bingo card
is called a "blackout"
or any special
patterns, and then the player wins
the prize.
A bingo card contains 24 numbered spaces
and one
free space in the center. The numbers are assigned at
random on each
card and are arranged in five
columns of five numbers each by five
rows.
The numbering system in Bingo is as
follows:
-
B column are between
1 and 15.
-
I column between 16 and
30.
-
N column (containing four
numbers and the
free space) between 31 and 45.
-
G column between 46 and 60.
-
O column between 61 and 75.
Bingo players have thousands of unique
cards to choose from. Some
manufacturers print unduplicated series
of up to 6,000 cards. Available are also series of
unduplicated 9,000 Bingo cards.
Bingo cards have a series number
printed on them. For example, Bingo card
number 1252 will always have the same
numbers in the same spaces.
The numbers are announced quickly by the
caller, so you must pay careful
attention to the numbers that are called
and
mark them quickly and accurately on
your Bingo card or cards, depending on how many you bought and how many Bingo
cards you can handle at once.
The
caller keeps calling numbers until
one or more players claim Bingo by yelling out (you must have guessed it)
"bingo". When that happens
the game stops and the numbers are
verified. A Bingo player that completes the numbers in a bingo pattern
according to the bingo rules of the
particular parlor, must yell
"Bingo!", the prize is awarded and a new
bingo game begins with new cards. If
there is
more than one winner, the prize is
split among all the winners.
Online Bingo halls offer many variations
to the original Bingo game, some of which are called
Six Pack, Letter X,
Coverall Bingo etc.
Additionally, some Online Bingo Parlors offer special
progressive jackpots and high payouts.
When playing online, your bingo cards
are randomly selected for you. Most
online games give you 3 or 4 cards.
Other games let you take more.
Now that you have
learned the rules and some of the important points of
Bingo it is time for you to try your luck at bingo and practice your newly
learned game.
Good Luck
